RB Leipzig have signed Benjamin Henrichs on a permanent deal after triggering the buyout clause in his loan deal.

In a statement on Monday, 'Die Roten Bullen' have confirmed that the 24-year-old right-back has joined the club permanently from AS Monaco on a contract until 2025.

"We're pleased that Benny will be staying with us long term. He's has a bit of bad injury luck this season, but as a German international possesses a great amount of talent, is versatile and can still have a greater influence on our team. His multilingualism also makes him a great asset to the squad," said RB Leipzig sporting director Markus Krösche.

Henrichs has made 15 appearances for the Bundesliga outfit this season, notching up an assist.
