Musiala double leads Bayern to win over Wolfsburg
Jamal Musiala bagged a brace as Bayern München saw off Wolfsburg at Volkswagen Arena.
Bayern München beat VfL Wolfsburg 3-2 at Volkswagen Arena to extend their lead at the top of the Bundesliga to seven points.
18-year-old Jamal Musiala opened the scoring for the guests with 15 minutes on the clock, taking a few steps inside the box before slotting the ball past Koen Casteels in the Wolfsburg goal.
Casteels was at fault for Bayern's second goal nine minutes later as he dropped the ball at the feet of Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting, who only had to slot into the empty net.
Wout Weghorst pulled one back for Wolfsburg in the 35th minute, bending the ball out of Neuer's reach with a first-time finish, but Musiala quickly restored Bayern's two-goal lead with a looping header.
Maximilian Philipp brought Wolfsburg back into the game at the beginning of the second half, making it 2-3, but it wasn't enough for the Wolves as Bayern held on to their lead until the final whistle.
The result means Bayern are now seven points clear of RB Leipzig at the top of the table. Wolfsburg remain third.
