Hertha BSC veteran Rune Jarstein is reportedly set to sign a contract extension with the German capital club.

The 36-year-old's contract, which expires at the end of the season, will be extended by two further years, according to Kicker.

Jarstein took over the role as Hertha's first-choice goalkeeper from Alexander Schwolow after Pal Dardai was appointed coach in January, but has missed his side's last two games after contracting coronavirus.

The Norwegian goalkeeper has played for Hertha since January 2014, making 179 appearances.
