RB Leipzig have an idea of who could succeed Eintracht Frankfurt-bound Markus Krösche as sporting director, according to the club's CEO, Oliver Mintzlaff.

"Of course we have set our sights on someone. But it has to be the right decision, and it has to suit everyone," Mintzlaff told Sky.

"We have a clear plan that we are following now, and we hope that we will be able to appoint a new sporting director for the start of the new season."

For now, RB Leipzig technical director Christopher Vivell and commercial director for sports Florian Scholz have taken over the responsibility of an interim basis.
