Ole Werner (Holstein Kiel), Timo Schultz (FC St. Pauli), Bruno Labbadia (unemployed), Edin Terzic (Borussia Dortmund) and Stefan Leitl (Greuther Fürth) are seen as candidates to replace Florian Kohfeldt as Werder Bremen coach, according to Sport Bild.

With Werder sitting 14th after seven straight Bundesliga defeats, Kohfeldt's future has been called into question ahead of the club's remaining three games of the season.

According to Sport Bild, Kohfeldt's departure already 'seems to have been decided', although Werder head of first team football Clemens Fritz recently denied that is the case.

Fritz also denied that the club have started looking for possible replacements for Kohfeldt.

Werder narrowly escaped relegation last season after beating Heidenheim on away goals in the relegation play-off final.

Kohfeldt has served as Werder coach since October 2017 and is under contract for another two years.
