VfL Wolfsburg centre-back Maxence Lacroix has rejected two offers of a contract extension, according to Sky.
Talks between the parties will continue after the end of the current campaign, as per the report.
Lacroix has impressed following his €5 million move from FC Sochaux last summer. So far, the 21-year-old has featured 34 times for 'Die Wölfe', racking up two goals and three assists.
Among others, Borussia Dortmund are reportedly interested in acquiring the highly-rated defender, whose current deal expires in 2024.
