Bayern München assistant coach Miroslav Klose has confirmed that he will follow head coach Hansi Flick out the exit door this summer.

The former German international will not be extending his contract, which expires at the end of the season.

"What happens to me and where I will be next season is still entirely up to me. I have a very clear plan, and I think [FC Bayern board member] Oliver Kahn knows that very well. And he also knows that I won't be here next season," Klose told Kicker.

"There are several exciting options and I am sure that a decision will be made promptly about what I will do next season."
