Miroslav Klose touted for Fortuna Düsseldorf job

Germany legend Miroslav Klose could reportedly be in line to be given his first job as head coach.

Klose, who recently announced that he will be leaving his job as Bayern München assistant coach this summer, has held intensive talks with 2. Bundesliga outfit Fortuna Düsseldorf, according to Rheinische Post and the Express.

Current Fortuna coach Uwe Rösler in out of contract this summer and could potentially be replaced by Klose.

"I can't comment on every rumor. We'll stick to our plans and talk to Uwe Rösler. If there is something to announce, we will do so," said Fortuna Düsseldorf boss Klaus Allofs when asked to comment on the speculation.

Fortuna Düsseldorf sit fourth in the 2. Bundesliga with one game left to play.
