Report: Bayern not keen to loan out shotstopper

Accodring to reports, FC Bayern Munich are reluctant to loan out 2nd choice shotstopper Alexander Nübel despite the goalkeeper being frustrated about his lack of playing time in his debut season.
The reports come from SportBILD, who say that the Bavarian side wishes to keep Nübel despite the 'keeper's request to go out on loan. The report also suggests that the defending champions are not willing to spend money on a new goalkeeper after they were linked with Arminia Bielefeld's keeper Stefan Ortega.

In the last couple of months, there has been intense speculation surrounding the immediate future of Nübel. He will not be sold, but a two-year loan has been tipped as the ideal solution for the young goalkeeper.

Ligue 1 champions LOSC Lille have reportedly opened talks with Bayern over a possible loan deal as they look for a replacement for the out-going Mike Maignan. However, it isn't just Lille who are interested, AS Monaco and Olympique de Marseille have also reportedly shown interest.

In the Bundesliga, VfB Stuttgart and Borussia Dortmund have had some interest, but it was previously reported that if Bayern would facilitate a move for the goalkeeper, it would be a move away from Germany rather than improving a direct rival.

Nübel's agent, Stefan Backs, spoke to FussballTransfers, and he said: “Basically, we and FC Bayern want the same thing. I am optimistic that we will find a good solution.”
