Milot Rashica could leave Werder Bremen for €15 million following the club's relegation from the Bundesliga due to a release clause in his contract, according to Kicker.

Since Rashica's contract expires in the summer of 2022, Werder are likely to cash in on him. Kicker, however, believes it's highly doubtful that the 24-year-old's relegation release clause will be triggered.

Rashica has struggled to replicate the form that saw Aston Villa table an offer of €30 million for him after the 2018/19 season. At the time, Werder were holding out for a fee closer to €50 million.

RB Leipzig would have liked to activate Rashica's relegation release clause after the 2019/20 campaign. But – unlike this season – Werder just managed to stay up.

He then nearly joined Bayer Leverkusen before last year's summer transfer window slammed shut, but the move broke down on deadline day.

Rashica made 26 appearances for Werder in the 2020/21 campaign, racking up three goals and five assists.
