FC Köln defender Sebastiaan Bornauw has been targeted by VfL Wolfsburg as a possible replacement for Maxence Lacroix, according to Sportbuzzer.

Sky Germany reported on Monday that RB Leipzig are preparing an offer for Lacroix, who has also been linked with the likes of Borussia Dortmund and Chelsea.

Sportbuzzer now claims that Wolfsburg have approached Bornauw to find out if he would be willing to make the switch to Volkswagen Arena.

The 22-year-old centre-back has also been touted for a move to newly-promoted Premier League side Norwich City.
