Italian publication Tuttosport have reported that the 2 Italian clubs have joined Spanish side Villarreal in the hunt for Schalke's playmaker Amine Harit.

Harit played in 31 Bundesliga matches last season scoring 2 goals and notching up 5 assists, and with Schalke succumbing to relegation, Harit made it clear that he wants to leave the club.

Tuttosport have suggested the valuation for Harit is close to €10m, however, earlier in the week SportBILD suggested the valuation for Harit was closer to €15m. With Schalke's financial troubles it could be that Schalke are reluctant to lower their valuation.

It was reported a couple of days ago that along with Villarreal, Napoli, and AC Milan, Atalanta were said to also be interested in the 23-year-old. Read more about the Atalanta interest here.
