Arminia Bielefeld keep legend for another season

Fabian Klos has signed a one-year contract and will stay in the Bundesliga with Arminia for at least one more season.
The Arminia Bielefeld legend will stay on for one more season: Fabian Klos has signed a one-year-deal to complete his eleventh year as a Bielefeld player.

Some could argue that Klos single-handedly scored the most important goals to keep Arminia in the Bundesliga, most notably the only strike for the 1-0 victory against Schalke 04 on Matchday 30 and the penalty against VfB Stuttgart on the final day.

As well as the saviours in the Bundesliga, people can't forget that Klos was a huge part of Arminia's unlikely promotion push in the 2019/20 2. Bundesliga season, Klos scored 21 goals and also assisted 7 times.

Klos has featured in 352 Arminia games with his time at the club, scoring a whopping 142 goals. That's a goal every 2.5 games on average.

Klos will have to battle with incoming signing Janni Serra, the tall and young striker signed on a free-transfer from Holstein Kiel and will be a key addiditon to support Klos, especially with reports that Arminia will have to be without on-loan Japanese Ritsu Doan.

Here is the Bielefeld forward depth as of now:
• Fabian Klos
• Sergio Córdova
• Janni Serra
• Andreas Voglsammer
• Sven Schipplock
