Confirmed: Mavropanos stays at Stuttgart
Konstatinos Mavropanos will stay at Stuttgart for another year.
VfB Stuttgart have extended Konstatinos Mavropanos' loan spell from Arsenal by a further season.
The 23-year-old spent the 2020/21 season on loan at Stuttgart and will remain at Mercedes-Benz Arena for the upcoming campaign.
“We’ve always said that we’d like to have 'Dinos' for longer at VfB insofar as we have the opportunity to do so," said Stuttgart director of sport Sven Mislintat.
“'Dinos' made it clear from an early stage that he’d like to stay at VfB and we have been able to come to an arrangement with Arsenal that makes sense for both sides. Dinos is well on the way to becoming an absolutely top-quality central defender and we are delighted to have him at VfB again.”
