Sebastian Rudy has completed his return to Hoffenheim on a permanent deal.

The midfielder has signed a two-year deal with 'Die Kraichgauer' after his contract with Schalke 04 was terminated by mutual consent.

"I am delighted to now be a permanent fixture at TSG and I am very thankful for the trust over the years," said Rudy, who spent the last two seasons on loan at Hoffenheim.

Rudy also played for Hoffenheim from 2010 to 2017 and is the club's record appearance holder, having featured a total of 280 times.
