According to Germany's Bild Zeitung, the final transfer fee for the scorer of 28 league goals last season turns out to be quite the bargain. Germany's main sporting tabloid reports that RasenBallSport Leipzig will pay Eintracht Frankfurt €23 million to secure the services of the Portuguese attacker, still valued at closer to €40 million in the latest transfermarkt.de listings.

The deal, which brings the SGE striker to Saxony on a contract through 2026, reportedly does include performance bonuses. As a a result, Frankfurt may collect closer to €30 million if the 25-year-old can put similar production numbers as he did in an Adler tricot.

Silva turned in a decent 2019/20 campaign, netting 16 times across all competitions. Naturally, this was nothing compared to what he accomplished in the campaign just completed. Twenty-eight league goals and 10 assists left him with a most impressive total of 38 scorer points. Taking Pokal play into account, Silva was directly involved in over 50 percent of Eintracht's goals.

"I would like to thank Eintracht Frankfurt ver much," Silva said in a statement, "I had two great years there and was able to develop successfully. I definitely want to play on this highest level and that means the Champions' League. In Leipzig, I have the opportunity to be a permanent fixture in the German top flight. Those responsible at RBL were quick to convince me of the club's vision."
