Official: Kutucu leaves Schalke 04
Ahmed Kutucu has left Schalke 04 to join Istanbul Basaksehir on a permanent basis.
Schalke 04 have announced their 18th departure of the summer by confirming that Ahmed Kutucu will join Turkish side Istanbul Basaksehir with immediate effect.
"Permanently leaving FC Schalke 04 was definitely not an easy decision for Ahmed," said Schalke sporting director Rouven Schröder.
"Aside from the emotional side of this transfer, it's an understandable step for him to take and one that makes sense for him in a sporting sense. We would like to wish Ahmed all the best for his future."
Kutucu made a total of 52 appearances for Schalke's senior side, racking up six goals and four assists.
