All Bundesliga clubs can have up to 25,000 fans inside their stadiums and arenas, however, there is an exception for the Allianz Arena in Munich.

Record champion Bayern Munich is allowed to play in the home Allianz Arena in front of a maximum of 20,000 fans because Bayern initially wants to take a cautious course in the re-admission of spectators due to the Delta variant, rising case numbers in other countries, and the expected travel return problem and only allows an occupancy rate of no more than 35 percent.

The basic requirement for the return of the spectators is the release by the competent authorities. This takes into account the incidence figures, which must not exceed 35. In Baden-Württemberg, the upper limit is 50 people who are not vaccinated or have recovered from coronavirus must present a negative corona test. In addition, the applicable hygiene rules and the distance requirement must be observed.
