Bayern München are leaning towards sending Chris Richards out on loan again, according to Sport Bild.
The 21-year-old U.S. international is back at Säbener Strasse after he made 13 appearances on loan at Hoffenheim in the second half of last season.
Bayern think highly of Richards, who will now be allowed to prove himself in pre-season under new head coach Julian Nagelsmann.
However, there is a 'clear tendency' towards another loan spell for the promising defender, per the report.
Should Richards head out on loan again, it's not unlikely that he could re-join Hoffenheim.
