Report: Leipzig line up Schlotterbeck as an alternative to Lacroix
RB Leipzig have reportedly emerged as suitors for Freiburg's Nico Schlotterbeck.
RB Leipzig have joined Bayer Leverkusen and VfB Stuttgart in the running for Nico Schlotterbeck, according to SWR.
Per the report, 'Die Roten Bullen' have targeted the 21-year-old Freiburg centre-back as an alternative to Wolfsburg's Maxence Lacroix, who remains their first priority.
Schlotterbeck is available for a reported €15 million, which is only half as much as Wolfsburg are said to be demanding for Lacroix.
He spent last season on loan at Union Berlin, featuring 17 times.
