Report: Fürth poised to acquire Hertha's Ngankam on loan

German footballing magazine Kicker reports that Hertha BSC attacking prospect Jessic Ngankam is on the verge of an internal Bundesliga loan to the newly promoted SpVgg Greuther Fürth.
After persistent rumors of a loan out to the Dutch Erdevisie or perhaps Belgium's Jupiler Pro League, it appears as if 20-year-old striker Jessic Ngankam will be remaining in the Bundesliga after all. Germany's preeminent footballing publication reports that the former Germany U17 and U18 international will spend the 2021/22 campaign on loan at newly promoted Fürth.

The native Berliner has thus far made 19 appearances with the Hertha senior squad. Bundesliga watchers will recall that he showed flashes of brilliance at the beginning and end of the season just completed. Ngankam earned his maiden Bundesliga goal in a defeat to Bayern last October and also scored the winner in a crucial match against Schalke in mid-May.
