Official: Widmer signs for Mainz
Silvan Widmer has completed his switch to Mainz.

The Swiss international has signed a three-year deal with the Bundesliga club.
"Silvan is an athletic player, who brings everything we demand from a full-back. He can be used flexibly in several defensive systems, has a lot of speed and a lot of drive going forward," said Mainz coach Bo Svensson.
"Silvan fits in perfectly with the way we want to play. In addition, he is a seasoned player, who will enrich our team, not only with his footballing quality, but also with his experience and his fine behavior."
