How Germany could line up for the Summer Olympics

We take a look at the team Germany could field for the Summer Olympics in Tokyo.
After guiding Germany's under-21 team to European Championship glory last month, Stefan Kuntz will now be at the helm for his country's Summer Olympics campaign, which will begin in a week.

Kuntz will be able to count on a handful of the players that featured at the U21 Euros, with the likes of David Raum, Amos Pieper and Arne Maier all included in his Olympics squad.

However, he will have to manage without Niklas Dorsch, Ismail Jakobs and Josha Vagnoman, who have all pulled out of the initial squad. ¨

Looking at the team at his disposal, the 58-year-old is likely to opt for a 4-2-3-1 formation with the following players:

Florian Müller

Benjamin Henrichs
Felix Uduokhai
Amos Pieper
David Raum

Maximilian Arnold
Arne Maier

Marco Richter
Max Kruse
Nadiem Amiri

Cedric Teuchert
