Fiorentina have reportedly emerged as favorites to sign FC Köln midfielder Ellyes Skhiri.

According to Bild, the Serie A side are ahead of AS Roma in the race for the 26-year-old.

It's further claimed that Skhiri could leave for a fee in the region of €15-17 million.

Köln paid €6 million to bring the defensive midfielder to Germany from Montpellier in 2019.

'The Billy Goats' have already sold two key players this summer in Ismail Jakobs and Sebastiaan Bornauw, who have joined AS Monaco and VfL Wolfsburg, respectively.
