Stefan Kuntz reacts to Germany's Olympics defeat to Brazil

Speaking after Germany's 4-2 loss to Brazil at the Olympics, head coach Stefan Kuntz admitted the South Americans could have scored even more goals.
Germany's Olympics side fell to a 4-2 defeat in their opener against Brazil in a game that saw Stefan Kuntz's troops being 3-0 down at half-time thanks to a Richarlison hat-trick.

Speaking to ARD after the game, Kuntz didn't mince his words in his assessment of his team's performance.

"We didn't play well in the build-up and made a lot of bad passes. And that has little to do with the opponent," said Kuntz.

"Because we had little courage and no precision in your passing, we allowed Brazil many counter-attacks without them having to do anything.

"We had no grip on the game, and Brazil could have scored even more goals."

In their next game, Kuntz's team take on Saudi Arabia on Sunday.
