Mahmoud Dahoud confirms he has extended his Dortmund contract

    Mahmoud Dahoud has confirmed reports that he has put pen to paper on a new deal with Borussia Dortmund.

    Speaking on the club's official podcast on Thursday, the 25-year-old midfielder affirmed that he has extended his contract until 2023.

    Dahoud is entering his fifth season with Dortmund following his €12 million switch from Gladbach in 2017.

    He appeared a total of 31 times for 'Die Schwarzgelben' last season, racking up two goals and two assists.
