Bielefeld land Austrian winger

20-year-old winger Patrick Wimmer has made the switch from Austria Wien to Arminia Bielefeld.

Wimmer has put pen to paper on a four-year contract with the Bundesliga side.
"With Patrick, we have brought in a young player, who – despite his age – can already look back on plenty of experience in the Austrian Bundesliga," said Arminia Bielefeld managing director for sport Samir Arabi.
"With his flexibility in attacking midfield, Patrick will help us further. We are therefore very pleased that he has decided to join us on our path over the next few years."
The Austrian under-21 international featured a total of 57 times for Austria Wien, scoring eight goals and making eight assists.
