The youngster has joined 'Die Adler' on a one-year loan deal with an option to buy. According to a statement from AC Milan, Frankfurt will be obliged to sign him permanently 'upon the occurrence of certain conditions'.
"With Jens Petter Hauge, we are adding the next important piece of the puzzle to our squad. Our goal is to align the squad so that we have even more variability and are less predictable," said Eintracht board member for sport Markus Krösche.
"Jens Petter has pace and skills to solve offensive one-on-one situations and thus exude scoring threat from all offensive positions. He is a young player with development potential who has already taken his first steps at an absolute top club at international level and can also look back on five years of experience in professional football. All this has made him a very interesting player for us and we are happy that we were able to attract him."
Milan signed Hauge from Norwegian side Bodø/Glimt last year. In his first season in Italy, he scored five goals and made one assist in 24 games for the Serie A side.
