Sørloth wants to leave RB Leipzig, confirms his father

Alexander Sørloth is looking to leave RB Leipzig, according to his father.
Alexander Sørloth's father has confirmed that the striker wants to leave RB Leipzig this summer.

In an interview with Norwegian media outlet TV2, Gøran Sørloth said he is '150 percent certain' that his son will find a new club before the transfer window closes.

"He wants to leave. We have talked about it," Gøran Sørloth told Norwegian publication Dagbladet.

Asked about reports that Southampton and AS Roma are among the striker's suitors, his father responded:

"Those are big clubs. As long as we're talking about good clubs at that level, I believe the rumors.

"Alexander wants to play football. He doesn't just want to sit and look at his bank account. He wants to see how far he can go and what he can take this to. At the same time, he has a lot of thoughts about the Norwegian national team."
