Frankfurt captain undergoes knee surgery
Eintracht Frankfurt revealed on Thursday that they would be without their captain for quite some time.
A brief statement from the SGE on Thursday divulged that captain Sebastian Rode had undergone arthroscopic knee surgery and would be out indefinitely. An official diagnosis on recovery time is still pending, but assumes--given the nature of the procedure--that the newly anointed skipper will miss 4-6 weeks at a minimum.
Martin Hinteregger and Makoto Hasebe are the squad's alternate captains.
