Gnabry bags brace as Bayern edge Köln

FC Köln caused Bayern München plenty of trouble, but the German champions ultimately won an entertaining affair at Allianz Arena.
Serge Gnabry scored twice to help reigning champions Bayern München to a 3-2 victory over FC Köln at Allianz Arena on Sunday.

After a goalless first half, Bayern coach Julian Nagelsmann made two changes at the break, sending on Josip Stanisic and Jamal Musiala to replace Tanguy Nianzou and Leroy Sané.

Musiala immediately made a difference and set up Robert Lewandowski's opener from the byline in the 50th minute after skipping past Jorge Meré.

And when Gnabry doubled the lead just shy of the hour mark, it looked like the win was in the bag.

But Köln then went straight down the other end and scored twice within a few minutes through Anthony Modeste and Mark Uth.

Gnabry, however, wasn't done yet and made it 3-2 with a thunderous effort in the 71st minute, earning Bayern their first Bundesliga win of the season.
