Bayern München remain hopeful they can conclude a deal to sign RB Leipzig captain Marcel Sabitzer before the transfer window slams shut at the end of the month.

According to Sport1, Sabitzer's agent, Roger Wittmann, was recently spotted at Bayern's headquarters at Säbener Strasse.

Visiting Säbener Strasse is not uncommon for Wittmann, whose agency represents more than 100 players, including Bayern's Eric-Maxim Choupo Moting.

Nevertheless, it is reasonable to think that the main purpose of his visit was to discuss a possible transfer for Sabitzer.

Sport1 claims that Sabitzer is keen on a move to Allianz Arena, but the negotiations between the two clubs are dragging out as the transfer window deadline approaches.

Per the German news outlet, RB Leipzig are demanding more than €10 million for the Austrian international, who has one year left on his contract. Previously, a fee of around €18-20 million has been mentioned.
