Schalke release youngster from training 'due to ongoing transfer talks' amid Besiktas links

Can Bozdogan has been released from Schalke training amid reports that Besiktas want to sign him.
Schalke 04 have announced that Can Bozdogan is not in training today 'due to ongoing transfer talks'.

According to Sky and WAZ, Besiktas have emerged as front runners to sign the 20-year-old, who has also been linked with Rapid Vienna.

Bozdogan, a German youth international of Turkish descent, made his first-team breakthrough last season, featuring 14 times for Schalke in the Bundesliga.

His contract with the 2. Bundesliga outfit expires in 2024.
