Report: Lazio step up their interest in Frankfurt star

Reports in Italy have come out today that SS Lazio are stepping up their pursuit of Eintracht Frankfurt winger Filip Kostic.
Lazio have sent Argentinian forward Joaquin Correa on loan to Inter Milan, which will become an obligation to buy for €25m, and have put the 28-year-old Serbian on the top of their shopping list.

According to Sportitalia, the Rome-based side have been in talks with the Eintracht Frankfurt winger's agent Fali Ramadani.

Kostic was at the top of Inter Milan's shopping list a couple of months ago, but interest cooled from the Serie A champions and now Lazio are said to be the frontrunners for the Serbian's signature.

Kostic managed 4 goals and laid on 17 assists during the course of the last Bundesliga season, forming a deadly attacking front-line with Andre Silva, Luka Jovic and Daichi Kamada. The 4 almost lead Frankfurt to the UEFA Champions League group stages but failed to stave off competition from Borussia Dortmund and Wolfsburg to claim their spot in Europe's premier competition.
