Eintracht Frankfurt midfielder Amin Younes' proposed switch to Saudi Arabian side Al-Shabab has collapsed, according to Sky Germany.

Younes looked set to be on the move after Frankfurt coach Oliver Glasner revealed earlier this month that the 28-year-old had 'clearly expressed his desire to leave'.

But Sky is now reporting that Younes has had a change of heart and wants to stay after all.

Back in October 2020, the 28-year-old joined Eintracht Frankfurt from Napoli on a two-year loan deal with an option to buy of a reported €2 million.

The attacking midfielder has featured 28 times, chipping in with four goals and three assists.
