Hoffenheim are 'pushing' to take Chris Richards on loan from Bayern München before the transfer window slams shut tomorrow, according to Sport1.

Richards spent the second half of last season on loan at Hoffenheim, making 13 appearances, and the two clubs are now in talks over a new loan move.

The U.S. international wants regular playing time, but has played just two minutes of Bundesliga football under new Bayern coach Julian Nagelsmann so far.

The versatile defender still has two years left on his contract with the German champions.
