Kicker Report: Leicester City work on loan for Leipzig's Lookman
German footballing magazine Kicker reporters that the next EPL loan destination for Leipzig winger Ademola Lookman appears to be Leicester City.
Recently returned from a year-long loan stint at Fulham, there seemed to be little doubt that 23-year-old English attacker Ademola Lookman would be headed back to the Premiership on a fresh loan this season. Several EPL sides we're rumored to be interested. On the penultimate day of the transfer window, a concrete taker has emerged.
British journalist David Ornstein of "the Athletic" reports that Leicester city are working with the German Red Bulls on another loan arrangement. German footballing magazine Kicker confirms this report and notes that a loan deal with an option to buy is being hammered out with the English foxes.
Lookman, who found the back of the net four times whilst away in West London last year, remains contractually bound with Leipzig through 2024.
