Sport Bild Report: Frankfurt set to accept second Lazio bid for Kostic

Germany's main sporting tabloid reports that Eintracht Frankfurt are prepared to accept Lazio Rome's latest offer for Filip Kostic, which totals some €15 million plus €3 million in bonuses.

Eintracht Frankfurt sporting director Markus Krösche noted (among other things) that he had received no concrete offer for Serbian winger Filip Kostic during a post-match interview this weekend. According to Germany's Sport Bild, this was because an initial tender from Lazio Rome had actually been sent to the wrong e-mail address.

The Bundesrepublik's main "Boulevard-Zeitung" now reports that, after Frankfurt initially rejected a €10 million bid for the disaffected attacker, the SGE now intends to accept a second bid that totals €18 million inclusive bonuses.

The report is not, as of yet, corroborated by any other German media sources. Moreover, there remains no concrete timetable for when both clubs might get the transfer over the line.
