VfB Stuttgart's Silas Katompa Mvumpa is edging closer to making his return from the cruciate ligament injury that has kept him out for around six months.

"Silas has worked very hard," said Katompa Mvumpa's agent, Mehmet Eser, in an interview with Bild.

"His knee is stable. He is completely healthy, our doctors and VfB have confirmed that," he added.

"He will be able to return to full team training in the near future."

Silas Katompa Mvumpa, formerly known was Silas Wamangituka, scored 11 goals and made five assists in 25 Bundesliga games last season.
