Last week, it was widely reported that Bayern Munich had agreed personal terms with Eintracht Frankfurt left-back Nathaniel Brown.

However, despite Bayern's progress in talks with the player, a swift transfer should not be expected.

According to The Athletic, Bayern have “indicated no willingness” to meet Eintracht Frankfurt's €65 million asking price for Brown.

Previous reports have suggested that the German double winners value the 22-year-old at around €50 million.

While Bayern are currently leading the race for Brown, Arsenal could move ahead if negotiations drag on, with the Premier League club also holding “significant interest” in the Germany international, as per The Athletic.
