Germany sensationally crashed out of the World Cup on Monday night, losing to Paraguay on penalties after their Round of 32 clash at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough ended 1-1 following extra time.

Germany's Man of the Match: Florian Wirtz (6.5)

After a quiet first half, Wirtz came to life following the break, setting up Kai Havertz's equaliser with a superb cross. He then delivered another excellent ball that Havertz should have converted to put Germany 2-1 up. The attacking midfielder finished with four key passes, two shots and eight duels won before being substituted in the second half of extra time.
