Borussia Dortmund's central midfielder Jobe Bellingham is called up by German coach Thomas Tuchel to represent the senior England national team for the first time in their upcoming UEFA Nations League games. The 21-year-old produced excellent performances this month for the Black and Yellows, including starring in “Der Klassiker” against FC Bayern.

The former youth international will have a chance to play alongside his older brother Jude, who is also performing at the top level for Real Madrid. Jobe joined BVB from Sunderland in summer 2025, which was two years after his brother's departure from Westfalenstadion.

Jobe's first Bundesliga season was a challenging one, but he started the new campaign in a much better form for Niko Kovač's side. Joey Veerman's transfer added competition in the middle of the park, but the Croat coach now found the right formula to incorporate the Dutch international, the highly-rated Felix Nmecha and Bellingham in his lineup.

Ballon d'Or winner Harry Kane and Bayer Leverkusen's Jarrell Quansah are also named in Tuchel’s 25-man squad for games against Croatia and Spain. The FC Bayern striker will be his country's outright top appearance maker with his next international appearance.

Meanwhile, Jobe's BVB teammate Ethan Nwaneri and Köln duo Mikey Moore and Jahmai Simpson-Pusey are called up by Lee Carsley as England U21 will start their preparation to win Euros for the third time in the row.
