After sitting out Borussia Dortmund's 4-1 loss to RB Leipzig due to illness, Marcel Sabitzer has been cleared for Wednesday's Champions League semifinal first leg against Paris Saint-Germain.

And as head coach Edin Terzic and captain Emre Can pointed out at a press conference on Tuesday, his return will be welcomed with open arms.

"He's a special guy. He's a great player. He always wants to go forward and win. He's very important for us. We're very happy that he's feeling better since Sunday because we're going to need him," said Terzic.

Can, sitting next to his coach, added:

“He's a special but great guy. It's very nice to have him in the dressing room. He's very important for us.”

The 30-year-old central midfielder has made 35 appearances for Dortmund since joining from Bayern Munich last summer, scoring six goals and providing nine assists.
