Borussia Mönchengladbach's list of potential successors to replace the dismissed Eugen Polanski is growing ever longer.

As of around midnight on Monday, 14 September, Brian Priske has been added into the mix of candidates by Tipsbladet.

According to the Danish sports magazine, Gladbach are planning to produce a multi-million euro offer for the Sparta Prague coach.

The 49-year-old Dane is still under contract with the Czech top club and would therefore command a substantial transfer fee.

Negotiations with Sparta are expected to begin soon. Priske previously managed Feyenoord Rotterdam, FC Midtjylland, and Royal Antwerp.

Although Priske lacks Bundesliga nous, the coach has extensive international experience which fits the Rhineland club's priorities.

In charge for over 159 matches, Priske has led Sparta to 103 victories in all competitions, averaging around 2.11 points per match.
