First negotiations between Jürgen Klopp, Marc Kosicke and the DFB (German Football Association) are reportedly underway.
The DFB represented, by Bernd Neuendorf and Hans-Joachim Watzke, have travelled to New York for said discussions, Sky Germany notes.
The final negotiations between the DFB and Klopp's current employers Red Bull are planned for early next week in New York.
Watzke and Oliver Mintzlaff will also be tasked with managing those discussions with the global Red Bull football entity.
Everything is proceeding according to plan and official announcements are planned once everything has been finalised.
According to the pay-TV channel, the German Football Association still has some work to do, which Watzke previously anticipated.
