According to a report this afternoon, Borussia Dortmund will most likely without Marcel Sabitzer against Real Betis tonight.

Earlier today, as Ruhr Nachrichten and Sky Germany understands, midfielder was missing from the departure to the team hotel.

The pay-TV channel believes a stomach bug is why the Austrian is expected to be out which leaves Niko Kovac with decisions.

Much to the BVB coach's relief, Konstantinos Karetsas made his long-awaited return from injury against Bayern Munich last Saturday.

Fellow Austrian star Carney Chukwuemeka is also in good form, while Felix Nmecha and Samuele Inácio can also play there.

Sabitzer, however, underlined his importance to the team this time last week, scoring the winner in BVB's 2-3 DFB-Pokal win over Werder Bremen.

Now, the 32-year-old will be hoping he can recover and assist the team as BVB host SV Elversberg at 15:30 CET this Saturday.
