Speculation has circulated over 16-year-old Kennet Eichhorn’s future for some time.
With a reported release clause of €10-12 million in his current contract, Hertha BSC are eager to tie the young midfielder down to a new deal – but their chances appear slim.
According to Sport Bild, Eichhorn is aiming for a move at the end of the season.
The highly-rated central midfielder should have plenty of suitors to pick from, with clubs such as Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Eintracht Frankfurt and RB Leipzig all said to be interested.
Eichhorn is currently sidelined with an ankle injury that could potentially keep him out for the rest of the season.
