Josha Vagnoman was delighted with VfB Stuttgart's performance after Sebastian Hoeneß's side secured a convincing 3-0 victory away to Slovan Bratislava in the Champions League on Wednesday evening.
The defender was named Man of the Match following an impressive individual display, which also saw him come close to scoring with a spectacular effort that struck the crossbar in the first half.
Speaking to DAZN after the final whistle, Vagnoman expressed his satisfaction with Stuttgart's performance.
"I think we produced a very good away performance and deservedly take the three points home," Vagnoman said.
"I think we did almost everything really well in all areas. We kept a clean sheet, scored three goals. It doesn't get any better than that."
The 25-year-old was also asked about his impressive shooting technique after nearly finding the net with an effort in the 34th minute.
"Not that often on the training ground. It happens spontaneously in games from time to time, and sometimes you strike the ball perfectly," he explained.
"In this case, there was just a little bit missing, but maybe next time."
With Stuttgart facing a demanding run of fixtures, Vagnoman was subsequently asked whether he would prefer to retain his place in the starting eleven or welcome an opportunity to rest.
"I think we'll see what things look like tomorrow," he responded.
"We've got enough players available, and a break never does any harm.
"We have enough players for the games coming up, so we'll see."
