Sport BILD reports that both Julien Duranville and Borussia Dortmund are working on a permanent separation this summer.

Despite the winger – currently on loan at FC Basel – being under contract in Dortmund until 2028, an exit is seemingly inevitable.

Duranville was expected to achieve their hoped-for breakthrough in Switzerland, but the desired development failed to materialize.

Clubs from France were keen on the Belgian talent, but BVB will probably not be able to recoup the €8.5million they paid for him.

Furthermore Basel, for whom he played 16 league games for and provided 2 goals with an assist, would take a share of the transfer fee.
