Bayer Leverkusen forward Christian Kofane has set his sights on a move to the English Premier League, according to Sky Germany.
As also recently reported by Sport Bild, Kofane and Bayer Leverkusen were making good progress on a contract extension until 2031, but the talks have recently stalled.
While Sport Bild reported that financial considerations were behind the stalled talks, Sky reports that the 20-year-old is pushing for a move to England.
During the summer, a €60-70 million price tag was floated for Kofane, with Arsenal, Newcastle, Manchester United, Aston Villa and Everton among the clubs he was linked with.
The young forward, who joined Leverkusen from Spanish second-tier side Albacete Balompié for €5.25 million in the summer of 2025, is under contract until 2029.
He's currently sidelined with an injury picked up while on international duty with Cameroon.
